Claude was the son of Amos Andrew Feezell and Lourella "Lula" Glenn.

He was married first in 1921 to Marthalena "Lena" Dickerson. They had one daughter, Reba Mildred (1922-2018), and a premature son who died at or soon after his birth on Feb. 9, 1923 ("lived less than an hour"). Another record lists him as "Still Born."

Claude was married second to Ethel Edna Asher. They had no children.
