Carmel N. Quintana, "Pa", age 81, was born in Trementina, NM on July 16, 1934.
Carmel a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away at home with his family at his side on June 30, 2016.
Carmel is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-two years, Viola, his daughter, Virginia Warren and her husband, Brent, his son, Nick Quintana, brothers, Fred Quintana, Paul Quintana and his wife, Mary and Transito Quintana and his wife, Dolores, grandchildren, Bill Apodaca and his wife, Melissa, Nicole Warren, Dylan Warren, Justin Quintana and his wife, Tracy, Josh Quintana and his wife, Britney, great-grandchildren, Diego, Mellery, Santiago, Nicco, Isiah, Gabriela and Alijah and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carmel was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Quintana, daughter, Pauline Quintana, sister, María Archuleta and brothers, Alfonso Quintana and Juan Quintana.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
