Obituary from The Deseret News, October 13, 2002, pg. B07:

Robert Morley Sutton, 78, died unexpectedly October 8, 2002.

Bob was born August 10, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Glenna Allgood and William E. Sutton. He was raised in the Newhouse Hotel where his father was part owner/operator. He graduated from East High school and the U of U, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Bob then attended dental school at USC, graduating in 1946.

He married Ann Ward Sutton on August 30, 1949, who preceded him in death five years ago. They are survived by five children; . . . . Bob is also survived by eight grandsons who knew him as "Bompa Bink"; . . . .

Bob practiced dentistry in Salt Lake City for over 30 years. He had patients from all over the Intermountain West who would drive for hours to see him. He was an artist in his craft, and with his wife Ann as the receptionist, an appointment was actually fun. Bob was a member of the Utah Dental Association and the "25 Associates." Baseball was his passion, and spectator sports his pastime. Bob was an avid golfer in his younger years and a member of the Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club. He loved to duck hunt, fish and cook. Bob was a storyteller and a jokester, his wit and historical perspectives will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 14, at 12 Noon at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday, Oct 13, from 5-7 p.m., and an hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Willard Cemetery.

Those wishing to remember "Bink," may make contributions in his memory to the University of Utah Hospital Foundation, 50 North Medical Drive, SLC, Ut. 84132
