Adams, James J., 94, died Dec. 9. Graveside services 11a.m. Saturday, El Reno Cemetery (Huber-Benson, El Reno).

Graveside services for James J. Adams will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 in the El Reno Cemetery with Rev. Pat Brewer of First Anointing Church officiating. Services are under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Adams died Dec. 9, 2015, at his home in El Reno. He was born June 1, 1921, in Konawa. Jim came to El Reno in 1972. He was a drilling superintendent retired from Bon-ray Oil Company.

He enjoyed refinishing furniture and gardening, and was the "neighborhood fixer-upper" keeping the children's bicycles and pogo sticks operating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Adams; his parents, Luther and Bertha Long Adams; three sisters and one brother.

Jim is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Bullock of El Reno and Denniece and Mark Lorenzen, also of El Reno; three grandchildren, Terri Crawford, Travis Bentley and Lauren Daughery; two great-grandchildren, Heather Price and Megan Bentley; and one great-great-grandchild, Eron Bentley.
