Funeral services for J. D. Sailors, 75 years old, who died at his home here Wednesday following a cerebral hemorrhage, were held at 1:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the residence on Fletcher street.
Burial was in Dogwood cemetery, which is located about eight miles south of Bertrand.
Mr. Sailors was born April 17, 1868. He had lived in Sikeston for approximately fifteen years.
He is survived by two sons, J. W. and J. T. Sailors, both of Sikeston, a brother, J. M. Sailors, Columbus, Ky., and other relatives. His wife, who died about seven years ago, is buried in Dogwood cemetery.
