Charlie Oliver Crown, 78, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, on his farm in Gaithersburg.

He was the husband of the late Evelyn Marie Crown who died Dec. 12, 1987. He was born in Gaithersburg, Aug. 1, 1926, a son of the late Forrest F. and Ruby Briggs Crown.

He was a lifelong diary farmer and long-time member of the Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Association.

He is survived by a sister, Catherine C. Stinson of Gaithersburg; a brother, Robert F. Crown of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Lorraine B. Crown of Gaithersburg; and a special friend, Virginia See; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and one great great-niece. He was preceded in death by his brother, James F. Crown.

Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Dec. 18, 2004, from noon until funeral services begin at 1 p.m., with interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
