"Mrs. Elnora Kelley was born April 28, 1874, in Butler county, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Elliot and Sarah Jones. When a young lady she moved with her parents to York County, Nebr.
She was married to Manford E. Kelley October 8, 1893. To this union were born two children, one daughter, Aleta, now Mrs. Bert Sherwood, and one son, Ted, both of York.
Mr. and Mrs. Kelley moved from York county in 1917 to their home near Beaver Crossing where Mr. Kelley preceded her in death in 1938.
Mrs. Kelley was an active member of the Church of Christ throughout most of her life. She passed away Thursday, November 6, 1952, at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 9 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of friends."
