Death of Little Robert Clifford Kenoyer
Once more the angel of death has come and taken from our midst little Robert, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Kenoyer. Robert was born Dec. 10th, 1897, died Oct. 12th, 1899.
As the sweet flowers that scent the morn,
But withers in the rising day,
Thus lovely seemed the infant's dawn,
Thus swiftly fled his life away.
E'er sin could blight or sorrow fade,
Death timely came with friendly care,
The opening bud to heaven conveyed,
And bride it bloom forever there
He died to sin and all its woes,
But for a moment felt the rod.
Oh love's triumphant wings he rose,
To rest forever with his God.
