Gladys "G.G." Hower-Lozano of Pace, Florida, age 80, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2015. She and her twin, Eugene, Jr., were born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 29, 1935 to Eugene L. Sr. and Devota (Brown) Hower. She spent her early years in Michigan and moved to California with her husband and children in 1961. She later returned to Michigan, living in Whitehall, before moving to Pace, Florida in 1994 to be with her daughter. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She loved children, her service as a Eucharistic Minister, camping and a blue sky with clouds. She was devoted to God, family and friends and will be greatly missed.


Gladys is survived by her son, Dor-Shal (Marsha) Stanley of Rapid City SD; her daughters, Rox-Anne (Kenny) Ramirez of Johnston CO and Yol-Anne (Bill) Luebbers of Pace FL step-daughter, Deanna Santoyo; her six grandchildren, Debi and Larry Griffin, Gary and Tommy Luebbers, Joe and Sarah Stanley; her two great-grandchildren, Carissa Norman and Brandon Griffin; her twin brother, Eugene (Diane) Hower of Twin Lake MI; step-mother, Rose Hower of Grand Haven MI; step-brothers, Jim (Marilyn) and Roger (Debbie) Hower, both of Muskegon MI, Gregory Hardenburgh of Lakewood Club MI and Kevin Hardenburgh of AZ; sisters, Georgia (Herman) Hulst of Montague MI and Maureen (James) Randazzo of Lamonte IL.


She was preceded in death by a still-born son, Leroy Stanley, her beloved husband, Frank Lozano, her father, Eugene Hower, Sr., her mother and step-father, Devota and Ralph Hardenburgh, step-brothers, Michael, Thomas, and Ralph Hardenburgh, step-sister Shirley Stevenson and step-son Danny Lozano. T


A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 3 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society with Father Richard Schamber officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until the service hour. A special thanks to Audry and Emerald Coast Hospice. National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.


The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday June 11, 2016 at St. Mary's Church in Muskegon, Michigan, with Father Matthew Barnum presiding. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery.
