HAROLD KIRN, HEAD OF SIGN FIRM, DIES AT OZARK RESORT
Harold Kirn, president of the G. C. Kirn Advertising Sign Co., 2729 Washington avenue, died yesterday, apparently of a heart ailment, at Lake of the Ozarks resort, where he had gone for a rest. He was 49 years old and lived at the Gatesworth Hotel.
Mr. Kirn had been president of the sign company for about six years. It was founded in 1898 by his father, George C. Kirn Sr. He was to have met some business associates yesterday, and when he failed to appear, the resort owner went to his room
and found him dead in bed.
Surviving are daughter, Joan, 14 years old; his mother, and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Paul. He was divorced from Mrs. Esther Kim, a real estate dealer, in 1939.
