Centerville - Mrs. Mary Florence Barrickman, 65, resident of rural route 1, Centerville, for the past 31 years, passed away at her home Saturday, Oct. 2, at 8:30 p.m. she had been in ill health for the past two months. Her death was attributed to a heart attack. Born June 30, 1906, in Plano she was the daughter of James Henry and Ida Mae Reynolds Renton.
On Jan. 4, 1925, she was united in marriage with Lloyd Barrickman at First United Methodist Church in Centerville and he preceded her in death June 13, 1969.
Mrs. Barrickman was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, a brother, Ray Fenton; two sisters, Lona Thompson and May Young.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Barrickman, Oskaloosa. Charles Barrickman of the home and Gary Barrickman, rural route 1, Centerville; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Flo Curtis, Promise City; four brothers, Clell Fenton, Seymour, Arlo Fenton, Plano, Lora Fenton, Seymour, and Ormal Fenton, Plano.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Miller - Wehrle Funeral Home with Re. Olen Adams, pastor of the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
