Mrs. Ellen T Awtrey, 76, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs W. W. Brooks early Monday morning. She had resided in Silver City for the past Year, coming here from Albuquerque where she had lived for a number of years.

She is survived by one son, five daughters, 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at, 3 o clock at the Cox Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Clarence Crow officiating. The body was taken to Albuquerque for interment.
