She was born Sunday, January 25, 1925 in Jesup, GA to her late parents Riley and Selma Higgingbottam Williams.
Mrs. Hightower had lived in Columbus since the 1940's and was a member of Evangel Temple and the Bethal Sunday School Class. She had retired from the Insurance Business and loved to visit with her family, neighbors and friends.
The family will welcome guests Friday, June 24, 2016, 12:00 pm in The Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA for visitation followed by a 1:00 pm Celebration of Lois' Life.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Hightower is preceded in death by her husband Dan Hightower; one sister, Joyce Jones, and brother in-law and sister in-law Homer L. and Mildred Hightower.
