Thomas R. Ashcraft,70,of White Hall,Arkansas,died Saturday,November 4th,2006,at White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center.He was born October 22cd,1936,at Rison, a son of the late Monroe and Rosie Spakes Ashcraft.He was reared and received his early education in Rison and Warren.He worked as a press operator for Arkansas Printing,Perdue Company and Pine Bluff Commercial.He was a member of Olive Street Baptist Church and Jacob Brump Lodge#160,where he was a past Worshipful Master and received the Pillars of Solomon Award in 2005.Mr.Ashcraft was preceded in death by five brothers,Odis Ashcraft,Harold Ashcraft,Lawrence Ashcraft, M.H. Ashcraft and Charles Ashcraft.Survivors include his wife,Virginia Lasiter Ashcraft whom he married on his birthday,October 22cd,1964,in Pine Bluff;sister Charlene Moring of Pine Bluff;four brothers,Bobby Ashcraft,George Ashcraft,and Benny Ashcraft all of Pine Bluff,and James Ashcraft of Star City.Services were held in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son on Tuesday,November 7th,2006,at 1;30p.m. with Reverend Roger Stewart officiating.Interment followed at 3:30p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Warren.Memorials may be made to the Olive Street Baptist Church Building Fund,1923 Olive Street,Pine Bluff,Ar 71601
