Charles A. Gabriel, 94, of Gainesville, GA died January 9, 2018. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ray Turpin and Rev. Clyde Self and Rev. Phil Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainseville. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Dr. Gainesville, GA 30504.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Glaze Gabriel; son, Tony Gabriel; daughter, Charlene Gabriel Whitey.

Mr. Gabriel, a native of Hall County, GA, was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church, had owned and operated Sunny Farms Stables and Auction in Cumming, GA for 34 years, from August 1976 to August 2010. He was currently working at Walker Clinic with his special friend Nicole Walker and her wonderful staff and the loving patients of the clinic. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge #316 F&AM. The Forsyth County News and the Gainesville Times published articles about Charlie and his horse auction and recently about his work at the Walker Clinic.
