She was extremely active in bowling and softball in Chattanooga. She retired from Gulf Life Insurance in Jacksonville.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Gordon, Raymond, and James Bible, 2 sisters, Jane Holmes, and Dot Steele.
Survivors include her son, Steven Shipley and wife, Vickie; grandchildren, Tony and Michael; great grandchildren, Payton, Joshua, Hannah, and Jessica; 2 great great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Ruth Huff and Elsie Walden.
