Daughter of John W. and Emmeretta R.A. Starks-Fullom.
Siblings: William G, Edward M., Edgar M., Ora E., Gertrude M.(Templeton), Maud M.(Brannon), Claud Ray, Walter Wesley, Homer Floyd, and Tressie I.
She married William Clark McLaughlin on Aug. 31, 1901 in Linton, Greene County, Indiana; son of John W and Sarah Alice Goldsberry-McLaughlin.
She and her husband moved to Oregon in 1910, from Indiana.
Children from this marriage were:
Otto, Mildred Ada, Edna Marie, Edith, Emery and E. W.
She was preceded in death by two of her children: Edith and Emery.
Della suffered from consumption and during her closing days, watched as her youngest daughter, Edith, died from a bowel disease, as paraphrased from the Siuslaw newspaper obiturary said, unable to give her the love and comfort that a mother would want to give a dying child.
She was a member of the Sunset Rebekah Lodge No. 114 of Florence.
Funeral service was held in their home, with the Rev. Thomas Yost officiating.
