Teddy "Ted" Le Roy Lisle, loving husband, Dad and "Papa," passed away on October 31, 2006, at the age of 72.

Ted was the sone of Don and Blanche Lisle. He married the love of his life, Shirley Allred, on January 23, 1954, in Elko, Nevada.

Ted's years of rodeoing led to being inducted into "The Idaho Legends of Rodeo Hall of Fame" in 2005. He lived most all of his life in King Hill and worked numerous jobs in Elmore County but spent most of his time with Glenns Ferry Highway District, where he retired in 1998 after 24 years. He was well known for his expertise as a grader operator. Ted loved hunting fishing and riding horses with his family but especially with his life-long love Shirl.

He was a devoted family man and instilled this in all of his family. Family meant the world to him, especially when the grandkids and great grandkids were around.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley, and four loving kids, Roxie Johnston and her husband Brad, Jack Lisle and his wife Sheri, Webb Lisle and his wife Bonnie, and Trudy Jess and her husband Tim, two sisters, Frankie Marler and her husband Duane,and Dixie Claiborne and her husband Kyle. Ted was blessed with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Don and Jack Lisle.
