William Charles, eighty, Willow Street R1, Pequea Twp., died at 2:05 p.m. yesterday at Lancaster General Hospital, 13 hours after he was admitted.
Dr. J.M. Mustard, deputy coroner, said he died from coronary disease.
Born in Pequea Twp., he was a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lennert Charles and was a member of Boehm's Methodist Church and a trustee of the church.
A retired farmer, he is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Kendig, and adopted daughter Mable, wife of Benjamin Barr, Willow Street; three grandchildren; a brother, Samuel Charles, York, Neb; and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Kreider, Willow Street R1, and Miss Cecelia Charles, Lancaster.
