June 1977 – Passage. TAYLORSVILLE. Dorothy Mae Belnap Million, 60, of Taylorsville, died Saturday, June 4, 1977, of burns and smoke inhalation suffered when her home burned.

She was born April 1, 1917, in Ogden, a daughter of L. Lovel and Ellie Elisabeth Hobbs Belnap.

On Aug. 6, 1937, she married Roscoe G. Houlsley in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced.

She married Floyd W. Million on April 1, 1944, in Glendale, California. They were later divorced.

She was a member of the LDS Church and was a receptionist at a cleaning establishment in Salt Lake City.

Surviving are her mother of Ogden; a sister, Mrs. Thomas R. Ella Riley of Ogden; two brothers, Vinson K. Belnap of Fruit Heights and Richard D. Belnap of Bountiful.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Russon Brothers Mortuary in Salt Lake City where friends may call one hour prior to services. --From the newspaper files of the Ogden Standard-Examiner, Ogden, Utah, Sunday, June 5, 1977, Page 42.

June 1977 – Monoxide Cause of Death. Dr. Serge Moore, chief medical examiner, said Monday that a 60-year-old Granger woman who did during a fire at her home died of Carbon Monoxide poisoning due to smoke from the blaze.

Dorothy Million, 4051 S. 22nd West, was found lying on a bathroom floor by two youths in her burning home at 4 a.m. Saturday, according to The Salt Lake Tribune, a Salt Lake City, Utah newspaper published on Tuesday, June 7, 1977, Page 4.

Dorothy is interred in Lake Hills, along with her great uncle and aunt, Aaron and Ethel Redford.
