Edna Mae “Dolly” Ezzyk, 67, of Berwick passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Signature Healthcare, Bloomsburg, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Danville on April 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charles P. and Geraldine A. (Creveling) Smith, and attended Central Columbia High School. Dolly worked as a secretary most of her life, most recently at Haleyville Drapery, Bloomsburg.
She enjoyed interior decorating; having owned seven homes, she had great opportunity to put her passion into practice. Dolly also enjoyed traveling, and was grateful to have visited many places throughout the United States.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 15 years, George J. Ezzyk; daughter, Brandy Fowler, Danville; son, Leroy “Rick” Fowler III and wife Dawn, Longwood, Fla.; step-sons: George Ezzyk and Allen Ezzyk, both of Virginia; grandchildren: Chelsea, Paige, Nathan, Liam and Reagan; sister, Joyce Megargell and husband Don, Orangeville; many nieces and nephews, including Pat (Smith) Doty, Trucksville; Nancy (Smith) Ruhmel, Benton; Linda (Smith) Messersmith, Orangeville; Jocelyn (Megargell) Confino and Don Megargell Jr., both of King of Prussia, and Derek Megargell, Spring Mills, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Fowler; stepson, Gregory Ezzyk; brothers: Harry David Smith and Charles William Smith; and grandparents, including Margaret Creveling Farrell.
At Dolly’s request, there will be no funeral services.
