MERKLEY--March 16, 1974, Mr. J. Harold Merkley, aged 72 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Ruth Merkley of 235 - 26 Ave. N.W. Born in Chesterville, Ontario, he came to Calgary 58 years ago and was employed with the Union Milk Company for 45 years, retiring in 1967. He served in the Second World War with the Canadian Army.
Besides his beloved wife he is also survived by four sons, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. George Merkley of Chesterville, Ontario.
