Orell J. Anderson, 85, Neenah, died this morning at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. He owned and operated Orell J. Anderson & Son Co., for 49 years until his retirement.

Mr. Anderson was born in the town of Clayton Oct. 31, 1897, the son of Henry and Olga Larson Anderson. He married Dorothy Luebke Feb. 4, 1919, in the town of Vinland.

He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Neenah and a former councilman of the church.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Ardys Nault, Richardson, Texas; two sons, Elward Anderson, Neenah, and Dallas of Pleasant Grove, Utah; a brother, Loren Anderson of Winchester; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Esther) Lenz and Mrs. Lawrence (Hazel) Bentle, both of Appleton, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Rev. C. Richard Johnson officating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the service. A memorial has been established. The Kessler Funeral home of Neenah is assisting with arrangements.
