AIRFIELD - Clyde Lewis Hartless, age 54, died Saturday, September 26, 1992, in a Richmond Hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County July 5, 1938, the son of Aldon L. Hartless of Fairfield and the late Lucille Dunn Hartless.
He was retired from the U.S. Marines.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one son, Jerry L. Hartless.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Lee Hartless, Oxnard, Calif.; Bobby Lee Hartless, Detroit, Mich.; five sisters, Doris Price, Greenville; Louise Hubert, Bismarck, N.D.; Sandra Garrett, Fairfield; Phillips Arnold, Buena Vista; Brenda Kurth, Dale City; one brother, Hubert J. Hartless, Vesuvius; a special sister-in-law, Margie Hartless; a special brother-in-law, Billy L. Garrett; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jack Kemp. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
