Mrs. Barnwell was a devoted wife and mother and worked tirelessly for the benefit of her family. In addition to running the household she also worked as the bookkeeper for Don Reynolds' Flowers and Gifts for many years.
A woman of great faith, she was a long time member of the Greer Boulevard Church of Christ in Pittsburg. Her favorite Bible verse, one which brought her great strength and encouragement, is Philipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bo" Barnwell; parents Roy and Gertrude Reynolds; step-mother Lillian Reynolds; sister Evelyn Garrett; brother-in-law Everett Garrett; sister-in-law Mary Reynolds; aunt Marie Thornton; and uncle Jack Thornton.
