Mr. Gentry Dolinger Jr. age 71, of Lansing, NC died Monday, June 6, 2016 at his home. Mr. Dolinger was born August 28, 1944 in Ashe County to Gentry and Ethel Barr Dolinger. Mr. Dolinger was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Janet Dolinger, foster mother, Irene Poe and half brother, Larry Dolinger.
Memorial services were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Long Branch Baptist Church by Rev. Eddie Lewis.
Mr. Dolinger is survived by: 2 sons, Randall Dolinger of Zionville and Travis Dolinger of Hickory, 1 brother, Gerald Dolinger of Taylorsville, half brother, Freddie Dolinger of Winston-Salem, 3 half sisters, Violet Hastings of Walkertown, Sue Matthews of Yadkinville and Melissa Hardy of Hamptonville, step-mother, Betty Dolinger of Hamptonville, special cousin he considered as a sister, Jarrett Miller, Special Friend, Gladys Payne also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dolinger was cremated and family has ashes
