Hayes H. Biddle, 81, a retired sales manager and resident of North East for most of his life, died of cancer at Union Hospital, Elkton, on May 29, 1986. Mr. Biddle retired in 1968 from his sales manager position with the Budd Company of Newark, Del. The Budd Company was the first and only company he had ever worked for. Surviving him are his wife, Georgia M. Biddle of North East; two brothers, Walter F. of Peoria, Ill.; Raymond A. of Birmingham, Ala., four sisters, Helen Young of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Eunice Chase of Bowling Green, Ohio; Ruth Bateman and Doris White both of Sandusky, Ohio. Services were held at the Crouch Funeral Home, North East, on June 1, 1986, The Rev. Norma O. Bailey of the Harts United Methodist Church, Elk Neck, officiated. Burial was in the North East Methodist Cemetery.
