A Sad End
The body of Louis Watson of Afton was found dead in a vacant house in Creston, yesterday. The indications were that he had been dead several days. He was an old soldier. He left home last Thursday. He had been drinking considerable and wandered around and it is supposed he went into the old house and laid down and died, and the jury so held at the inquest.
Mrs. Watson went up at noon and identified the body as that of her husband. The remains were brought down last night. It is not decided when the funeral will be on account of waiting to hear from a daughter in Kansas City.
