Thelma Hermine Ziegenfuss Stackhouse was born 14 June 1922 to John Albert & Carrie Minerva Zeigerfuss Anthony and was named Lucy Agnes Anthony. After her mother died 2 July 1922 she was adopted by Carrie's younger brother Forrest Zeigenfuss & his wife Evelyn Armour. They changed her name to Thelma Hermine Zeigenfuss
