Our sweet mother, Magdaline Marie Bennett Webb, daughter of John and Hilda Johanna Bennett, passed away peacefully June 10, 2016 at Utah Valley Hospital. She was born March 15, 1927 in McCornick, Utah (near Delta). Most of her children were able to visit and comfort her before her passing.

She was survived by her children, Ronald Webb (Lula) Henderson NV, Evelyn Ruiz (Esteban) Gunnison UT, Marcia Merrell (Phillip) Salem UT, Carol Madsen (Winn) Alpine UT, Kathryn Johnson (Richard) Woodland WA, and Laura Coleman (Kevin) Springville. She was also survived by her brother Reed Bennett, and sister Mabel Williams. She had 28 grandchildren, and 54 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Harold Webb, her sister Grace Burrows and brothers, Everett Bennett and Robert Bennett.

Marie was an excellent seamstress, and sewed most of her children's clothes when they were young. She loved working in her yard, she kept a vegetable garden, and took great joy in planting and caring for her flowers. She loved the outdoors, and was always ready for a cook out in the canyon.

She was active in the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. She and Harold served 2 stake missions. She was a Temple worker for 15 years in the Provo Temple. She was a dedicated indexer, and indexed over 100,000 records. She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, and with that testimony, influenced those around her. She was very resourceful, determined and driven. She was very independent, and resisted asking anyone for help. She exemplified a "Christ-like" life, and she was loved by many people. She was especially loved and respected by her ward members and Bishopric. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Spring Creek 10th Ward Chapel at 672 N. 250 W. in Springville. There was a viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S. in Springville and Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services.
