H.C. TILLOTSON SUCCUMBS
TO BRIEF ILLNESS

Highly Esteemed And Well Known
Resident Dies

Harvey C. Tillotson, a long-time resident of Napa and well known and greatly respected, closed his eyes in eternal sleep Thursday afternoon at the St. Helena Sanitarium to which place he had been removed after being taken suddenly Tuesday evening at his home, 118 Cross street.

Mr. Tillotson would have been sixty-six years of age had he lived ten days longer. Ulcers of the stomach was given as the immediate cause of death and his illness proved painful.

Everything that medical science could suggest, and the ministrations of loved ones, failed of their purpose and the deceased sank rapidly to the end.

A good citizen and kind and loving father, Mr. Tillotson leaves many friends to deplore his passing. He was a man of industry who always well looked after the care and comfort of his kin. The members of his family have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their great loss.

Those who survive besides the widow are these three sons and a daughter; Walter Tillotson of Dixon; Mrs. Pearl Phillips and Fletcher Tillotson of Napa; and Lloyd Tillotson of Sanitarium; and a brother and three sisters: Mrs. Lucy Stice, Mrs. Lizzy McCoy, Mrs. Alice Bowles, and Frank Tillotson. There are three grandchildren.

The remains are now at the G. G. Pinkham Parlors.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral services which will be held at the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
