Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Ashcraft; a daughter, Judith A. Kalmey of Philadelphia, a son, Ronald L. Allen; a sister, Dottie Bell; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral was a 1 p.m. Wednesday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S Third St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
