Not sure if this is Ira B. Zigler who was born in 1829 in Kentucky. The 1880 Census shows that Ira was born in 1836 in Kentucky. However the other US Census show that Ira was born in 1829 in Kentucky.
Ira was married to Nancy H. Whitaker. On the 1870 Census William Whitaker, 10, and John Whitaker, 7, were living with Ira and Nancy Zigler's family. Some online info indicates that Nancy died in 1880 in Collin Co., Texas. Only a few children of this family are found on the later US Census'.
