ARNOLD N.ANDERSON,91 of Madonna Towers, a retired railroad employee, died Saturday Feb 1, 1992 in the skilled nursing facility at Madonna Towers,

Born Sept 27, 1906 in Tracy, Minn, he grew up there and attended Tracy High School. Mr. Anderson worked for the Chicago Great Northwestern Railroad as a passenger traffic manager for many years. On June 27, 1920 he Married Helen V. Mrachek in Rochester. They lived in Rochester until 1950 and then in Chicago until his retirement from the railroad in 1965. After returning to Rochester Mr.Anderson worked for Anderson wheelchair and Therapeutic Supply co., Inc until 1985. The company is owned by his son and daughter-in-law. His wife is a homemaker. Mr.Anderson was a member of Masonic Lodge 21 A.F.&A.M., was a charter member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was a member of Calvary Episcopal church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son James M of Rochester; a daughter, Janet (Mrs.Mort) Newman of Glenview, Ill; six grandchildren and a sister, Ann Anderson of Northfield, Mn. Two sisters preceded him in death. There will be memorial service at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Madonna Towers Chapel, with the Rev Nicklas Mezacapa officiating. The body was cremated, a private burial service will be conducted in Oakwood cemetery.
Vine Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Calvary Episcopal Church or Madonna Towers.
