WESTPORT - Carlie Green Allen, 75, farmer, died Thursday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church near Westport, where he was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Dilday Funeral Home in Huntingdon has charge.
Mr. Allen, the husband of Magnolia Simmons Allen for 53 years, also leaves three daughters, Minnie Sue House of Cedar Grove, Linda Abbott of Clarksburg and Velda Tegethoff of Christmasville; three sons, Milburn Allen of Hollow Rock, Malcolm Allen of Westport and Marvin Allen of Jackson; four sisters, Della Like of Peoria, Ill., Lorene Wimberly of Huntingdon, Katie Huggins of Sikeston, Mo., and Mable Sellers of Leach; two brothers, Arlie Allen of Holladay and Ja mes Allen of Huntingdon, 11 grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and four great-grandchildren.
