He joined the army, where he met his first wife, the mother of his two sons. While in the military, he served in South Korea. After their divorce, he divided his time between Florida & Georgia.
He met his second wife, Connie, in coastal Georgia. They married. Connie had two daughters from a previous marriage.
David was a painter. He was a member of NFB Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping & Nascar Racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, DeLoyd, a grandson, Christopher Lichty II, and a sister, Nada Jean Lichty.
He loved his wife, his two sons, his two stepdaughters, his grandchildren, & his two sisters.
David had a wonderful sense of humor.
He knew Jesus as his Lord & Savior.
He died from brain cancer. He had just turned 55.
His paternal grandparents were Don E & Gayle Mae Huff Lichty. His maternal grandparents were John Albert (Bill) & Cora May Sly Culver.
