Norton Gene Rollett Sr. 81, of St. Joseph, passed away April 7, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care.
Norton was born Oct. 30, 1934 to Ralph and Margaret
(Pritchett) Rollett, in St. Joseph, where he resided all his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and was the family historian.
Norton married Nida McPheter Nov. 29, 1951, she preceded him in death in 2009. Also preceding Norton in death, were his parents, daughter, Janie Pace, brother, Carl Rollett, and four sisters, Geneva Schoenborn,Margaret Lucille Keck, Opal Nell and Beverly Limley.
Survivors include children and spouses, Norton Gene Rollett Jr,Leroy Kansas, Norman (Deborah) Rollett, Debbra Grubb, Karen Rollett, Rory (Laura) Rollett all of St. Joseph, Paula (Michael) McCoy, Hamilton, Missouri: a granddaughter Tisha Worley , St. Joseph who was raised in there home, numerous other grandchildren and Great grandchildren.
Mr. Rollett has been cremated under the direction of the Clark-Sampson Funeral.
His cremains were inurned at Pleasant Ridge cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.
