Geral Adams, 68, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Hospice House. He was born on January 13, 1938 in Laird Hill Texas. He married Barbara Whitling January 1, 1960 in Odessa. He owned Whitling & Adams Construction Co. He was a member of West 10th Full Gospel Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his son Alton Ray, his parents John Edgar and Dessie Dee Adams, grandson, Joe Green, and brother, Robert Lee Adams.
Survived by sisters Helen Colburn, Dessie Goretska, husband Richard, Lollie Pierce, husband Harold and brother Dale Adams, wife Debbie, all of Fort Worth and sister Mollie Cothran, husband Ray, of Odessa. (9) grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren, also 28 nieces and nephews who all loved him very much.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dewey Blevins and Bill Bundick officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
