Husband of Edna A. Sheridan Lubben
My family research came across your uncle (George T.) because he married Edna A. Sheridan, who is my 3rd cousin 1x removed. She in turn is descended from the Sheridans (Bridget who married James McCormick) who first moved to Chicago by 1860. The family story is that they first arrived in the southern US and worked on a plantation or large farm until their boss told them war was coming and it would be best for them to go north. The McCormicks moved 2 houses from Bridget's brother Patrick. They lived about 4 blocks west of Sox Park which at the time was well outside Chicago's city limits
