Funeral services for J. P. Bush of Lake Creek will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Bush died at his home Thursday, July 17.
He was born Aug. 16, 1908, in Ben Franklin, a son of Joe P. Bush and Eva Moore Bush. He married Pearl Freeman on March 3, 1929.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Ruth Bush of Midland and Bettye Jo Shirley of Ben Franklin; two sons, Edwin Bush of Paris and O. J. Bush of Duncanville; one brother, Morris Bush of Littlefield; one sister, Frieda Mae Millard of Cooper; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
