Carol married Calvin Ford Thomas September 27, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Serving and counselor in the Relief Society, as a librarian and visiting teacher for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a full-time homemaker devoting her entire life to her family. Involved in the Jaycees Wives, LaThais, and Thalian Club, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Fonette chapter, she spent time at her in St. George and traveling with her husband.
Remembers for her beautiful latch-hook and embroidery work, she is survived by six children: Collette (Randy) Cowan, Tamara (Richard) Davis, Shannon (Stuart) White, Lane (Annette) Thomas, Blake (Deb) Thomas, and Jan Thomas; 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother Glen (Genevieve) Larsen, Afton (Bert) Timpson survive Carol. Her husband, a sister, Janice (Lorin) Creer and granddaughter, Kiplyn Davis, predeceased her.
