Helen Barbara Hawkins Jones Davis
1928 - 2016

Early Life: Helen was born September 11, 1928, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Gerald Tanner and Edna Celesta Jex Hawkins. Helen was educated in Spanish Fork schools.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On September 3, 1948, she married her childhood sweetheart, Paul Proctor Jones. He was involved in a tragic automobile accident and died on March 4, 1959. Helen raised their five children with help from her mother and other dear family members. On July 11, 1987, she married Laurence M. Davis of Salem, Utah, who treated her like his queen as they traveled the world and shared a myriad of wonderful experiences. Laurence passed away November 17, 2009. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Helen's favorite callings were those serving children. In her later years, wonderful young men came to her home to bring the sacrament and they were blessed by her sweet spirit and kindness. Helen enjoyed a career filled with service at places like Christensen’s, The Tally Ho, and Mod-O-Day, with her most significant contributions being made at Mountain Bell. Helen loved her family and seemed to always have visitors. It seemed like her home was a revolving door with kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, friends and other family members stopping by to wish her well. Helen was active in the Vestalian Club; these wonderful women have been meeting almost every month for nearly 60 years. Heaven has gained an angel. Helen Barbara Hawkins Jones Davis passed away January 17, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was 87.
