Elizabeth Montagu was born before 1325. She was the daughter of William Montagu, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Catherine Grandison.
She married, firstly, Giles de Badlesmere, 2nd Lord Badlesmere, son of Bartholomew de Badlesmere, 1st Lord Badlesmere and Margaret de Clare, after February 1328, and was called Lady Badlesmere.
After Giles died 07 Jun 1338, she married secondly, Hugh Despenser, 4th Lord le Despenser, son of Hugh le Despenser, 3rd Lord le Despenser and Eleanor de Clare, on 27 April 1341. He would die eight years later on 08 Feb 1349.
Elizabeth married for the third time to Sir Guy de Bryan, 1st and last Lord Bryan, son of Sir Guy de Bryan, married between 1349 to 10 July 1350. She had four children with Guy:
* Children Philip de Bryan d. bef 14 Feb 1383
* Margaret de Bryan b. bef 1351, d. bef 13 Apr 1393
* Sir Guy de Bryan b. bef 1358, d. 1386
* Sir William de Bryan b. bef 1359, d. 22 Sep 1393
