A. Bernard Wickliffe, 87, former resident of Greenville, died Wednesday in Shalimar, Florida.
Born May 2, 1898 in Greenville, S.C., he was the son of the late Max and Viola Richardson Wickliffe. Before his retirement he was employed with Duke Power Company and was a former resident of Briggs Avenue. He was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church.
His wife, Billie Richey Wickliffe, died January 21, 1985.
Surviving are one son, Harry F. Wickliffe, Sr. of Shalimar, Florida; a brother, Louie D. Wickliffe of Greenville, S.C.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum by Dr. Bryan Crenshaw.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thoams McAfee Funeral Home
