JOHN GORMAN MARR, 81, of Olive Branch, Miss., retired mechanic, died yesterday at Methodist Hospital South. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch with burial in Blocker Cemetery there. He was a member of Emory Methodist Church near Watson, Miss. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clara Marr; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Rivers Richardson of Nashville, Mrs. Carolyn Lowery of Winona, Miss., and Mrs. Julia Miller of Memphis; three sons, Jack Marr and Robert K. Marr, both of Olive Branch, and John G. Marr Jr. of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Annie Laura Jamison of Byhalia, Miss., and 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
