Mrs. Cannon was a lifelong resident of the Somerville and Williston Communities and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker throughout her life and she enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning and working with flowers.
Mrs. Cannon is survived by five daughters, Ollie York (Tommy) of Somerville, Lorene King (Morris) of the Warren Community, Sheila Eddington (Dennis) of Williston, Patricia Kimery (Ralph) of Moscow, Audrey McQueen (Ricky) of Williston; her son, Aubrey Cannon (Linda) of Whiteville; three sisters, Louise Pittman of Laconia, Ruby Ferge of Somerville, Alvie Cannon of Somerville; two brothers, Clifton Thompson of Somerville, S.T. Thompson of Nashville; 28 grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren.
