Carl S. Leibig, 66, husband of Katherine A. Morinchin Leibig, 439 E. Cumberland St., died Sunday morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital after a two-week illness. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of Lebanon, the Lebanon County Firemen's Association and the R Field and Stream Club. Born in Cornwall, he was a son of the late George and Sadie Dissinger Leibig. He was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. Surviving are his wife; a step-daughter, Virginia, wife of Henry F. Hartman of Lebanon ; two step-grandchildren, and one sister, Mathilda, wife of Lester Yorty of Cornwall. [Lebanon Daily News, April 16, 1973, Page 2]
Services for Carl S. Leibig, 439 E. Cumberland St., were held this morning from the Christman Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection was held in St. Gregory the Great Church with the Rev. John Keough, pastor, as celebrant. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Bearers wore Gordon Stahl, Krause Billingham, William Ristenbatt, Henry Arnold, Samuel Ressler and Henry Hartman.
