"One of the Revolutionary soldiers buried in Glades Cemetery is Samuel Harper. He came from Eastern Pennsylvania about 1800... Samuel Harper was born in Eastern Pennsylvania in 1754. At the outbreak of the Revolution in 1776, he joined Captain Francis Murray's Company in Samuel Atlee's Regiment, then in the Spring of 1777, from March until May, he served in Captain Mathew Scott's Company in Colonel John Bull's Regiment. In October 1781, he was a member of Captain Robinson's Chester County Militia Company, stationed at Newton... Samuel Harper was twice married, first to Hannah Swearing (ton), who died April 29, 1809, at the age of forty-eight years, and was buried at Glades. He had ten children by this marriage, and then married Jane (McMillan) Morehead, daughter of Rev. John McMillan, by whom he had four more children. She died February 3, 1857, at the age of 80 years...."

Gravesite Details
According to the the roy/monks family tree, Jane McMillan was also Samuel's second wife. If this info is correct he had many children from his first marriage
