Daughter of A. B. and Cordelia Lamb Crooks, she was a widow, lived at Sandy Lake, died of angina pectoris, per death certificate 25572, whose informant was L. A. Burkholder of Sandy Lake. Buried Feb. 12 1919.

Cemetery records give her name as Mrs. M.D. Dobson.

In 1898 she married Ruel Dobbins, born May 1838 in IN, parents born in NC, per 1900 census. They lived in Topeka, KS, where he was a physician.

Franklin News-Herald, Thursday, Feb 13 1919:
Mrs. Minnie Dobbins, 69, died Sunday morning at Sandy Lake. She first married J. C. Burkholder, who died some years ago and is buried here.

The body was brought to Franklin and interment was in Franklin Cemetery. Services were Wednesday morning at Sandy Lake with Rev. Wingbigler.
