Ella Lloyd Baker was born July 29, 1867 in Ironton, Charlevoix County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Adam Lloyd and Louisa Mc Millan. Her parents were both born in Canada. She was married on September 20, 1894 in Harbor Springs, Michigan to John Ten Cate, son of Derk Ten Cate and Wilhelmina Lucas. To this marriage was born one daughter named Marguerite Lucile. This marriage did end in divorce in 1906. She married to a gentleman named William Penn Baker after her divorce. They married two years after the death of his wife Kitty Wright Baker. Their marriage was not to last either. He is also buried in Tulsa.

Ella lived until Jan 1, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here is a copy of her obituary from Tulsa World. It ran on Jan 2, 1952.

FUNERAL RITES SLATED FOR MRS. ELLA BAKER

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Lloyd Baker, 84, of 308 W. 12th St. who died Tuesday morning will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Stanley's service room. Entombment will be in Rose Hill mausoleum.

Mrs. Baker, a native of Ironton, Mich, had resided in Tulsa since 1915. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emmett L. Barnes of the home.
